Traditional Qi Gong is the most fundamental and alchemical form of 'Internal Qi Gong'. Formulated by ancient Taoist Masters and only passed down to select students, its origins are lost in time, its only concerns the health, quality of life and longevity of the practitioner. Traditional Qi Gong has evolved over the eons to give birth to most subsequent styles, including the much more commonly known and widely practiced Tai Chi Quan.

THE MICROCOSMIC ORBIT WORKSHOP

The Microcosmic Orbit, also known as Celestial or Heavenly Circulation as well as many other names (in Chinese it is often referred to as 'the anterior sea of potential moving into the posterior sea of actuality), is one of the most esoteric Qi Gong practices. It is based on the premise that 'Jing', intended as an individual's Essence or 'drive', is a replenishable force and that it can be moved/transported through a specific circular pathway in order to potentiate it by filtering it through the three Dan Tien (the body's 'power stations') and to free up space in the otherwise limited reservoir available to us in our lifespan, thus allowing the build-up of surplus Jing and Qi (Vital Energy).
