TRADITIONAL QI GONG

FIVE ELEMENT QI GONG - CHINESE INTERNAL ALCHEMY

Traditional Qi Gong is the most fundamental and alchemical form of 'Internal Qi Gong'. Formulated by ancient Taoist Masters and only passed down to select students, its origins are lost in time, its only concerns the health, quality of life and longevity of the practitioner. Traditional Qi Gong has evolved over the eons to give birth to most subsequent styles, including the much more commonly known and widely practiced Tai Chi Quan. The Five Element Qi Gong style is a complete system of Qi cultivation and self healing. The aim of this course is to introduce participants to the fundamental principles underlying Qi Gong and initiate them to the practice of the Five Element Qi Gong system. Participants will learn a variety of exercises that can be practiced in daily life and adapted to suit naturally fluctuating needs. The knowledge needed to choose a suitable routine at a given time by way of self assessment, and the skills necessary to practice it safely and effectively will also be learnt.
